Reimer's lists are very helpful-- He has a lot of them and they stimulate global thinking for sure. Early he lays out the three dimensions of global competency:
openness to cultural differences,
command of languages other than one dominant language,
command of global history and geography
These things must begin in pre school They then make a powerful basis for openness to change. This is what globalization requires. We need more than merely quick or clever minds, we need big, wide-open and fearless ones.
